January 11, 2008
Dear Respected Community Member,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jenn Doolan and I am here as a representative of Tyler’s Second Time Around Community Thrift Store (Otherwise knows as 2XO). I am the Coos County Homeless Outreach Worker. Tyler’s 2XO and its success are very important to me as an outreach worker, because profits from the store are returned to the community by helping to offset the cost of operations at the Tyler Blain House Homeless Shelter – the only homeless shelter in Coos County – the only homeless shelter in 1,800 square miles-all of which is my service area.
Tyler’s 2XO is a charity thrift/resale store in Lancaster, NH. We resell clothing, shoes, jewelry, small household items and knick-knacks. We provide these items to the community at affordable prices and FREE to people most in need.
The reason for my visit is to introduce you to the store and let you know about our …
The goal the 2XO GIVING NETWORK is to collaborate with local business in the Lancaster and surrounding towns for a mutually beneficial business arrangement. The 2XO GIVING NETWORK is a program of Tri-County CAP, one of the oldest and most respected non-profits in the State of New Hampshire. As a non-profit, we can provide you with a tax receipt for your tax-deductible donations of overstock to prevent the expense and/or loss of revenue of having to dispose of the items yourself.
Please consider joining the 2XO GIVING NETWORK. We make all pick up and delivery arrangements and you will receive a window decal to display for your clients to know you support our work and your heart is in the community.
If you need more information or have questions, please do not hesitate to call. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
The Staff of Tyler's 2XO
