Food Bag Drive - we utilize food bags year round to fee those without shelter until we can get them to the next safest space. Here is a sample list (Just imagine you are hungry and have no cooking facilities. Please, no glass or can's that need openers)
- Crackers
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly/jam in a squeeze bottle
- Granola bars
- Tuna in pop-tops or bags
- Juice drinks in boxes or bags
- Cereal in small boxes
- Campbell's Soup at Hand (or Similar)
- Silverware and Napkins
- All placed in a reusable tote bag
- Use your imagination! Folks will be thankful!
Money Drive - Each program depends on the kindness of the community to keep our door open and keep our workers serving those without homes. If you wish to make a financial donation and want your funds to be used for specific program or item (i.e., a motel night, prescriptions medication, rent or mortgage payment to prevent homelessness) let us know. We fund account our donations. The less dependent we are on the federal, state and local government to run our programs, the better we can serve our neighbors.
Hats, Scarves and Mittens Drive - Especially in the winter, these are appreciated at all our sites. Handmade or not, we love them! And when someone is inappropriately dressed in the winter they REALLY appreciate them!
All donations are tax-deductible. We are a 501 (c) (3) agency and have been since 1966. You will receive the gratitude of many, a thank you letter and proof of your kindness for the IRS.
